But a correct answer none the less. "Soon" is a subjective term though. Could be 2 months, could be 2 years.

Yeah everyday my business partners ask me when they can get the new Z10 and I keeping telling them "soon" because there isn't a chance in hell that they can function without 2 way sync with Outlook-waiting patiently-but this oversight has to affect overall sales of Z10 or Q10 for small business owners.

If you're using Outlook in an Exchange server environment, there's no issue at all since you can and should be using EAS.

If Outlook is a client for other mail services and NOT Exchange, you should be able to connect directly to those services. I'm not sure why this is such a big issue...

    Friends:

I'm a longtime Blackberry user, but fist time Crackberry poster. So please bear with me.

GOOD NEWS: I recently won a new Z10.

BAD NEWS: I learned that I could not do two way sync from my Outlook.

I am a one man business owner, no enterprise server or anything. Just my laptop and my phone. No 2-way sync is a deal breaker to me.

Is there really no way at present to 2-way sync from Outlook calendar to my Z10? If no, are there simple work-arounds that a tech rube like me could manager (I saw there is some software you can download)?

    Help!

    Yes it is.

New BlackBerry Link version supports 2-way Outlook contact and calendar sync.

USB only (no OTA), but there.

Requires 10.1 OS version; if your carrier hasn't dropped it yet raise hell with them or load it yourself.

Version 1.1.1.26, two way synch. Working fine but slow.

Now, I need to be able to video chat any PlayBook, call directly from BBM and text message also. Slowly getting there. My z10 doesn't reboot anymore and that makes me happy

    Leaks cured my reboot.

    Set yourself up on Outlook.com
Export all your contacts from Outlook and import into outlook.com
    Same for your calendar

Now set up Outlook to get mail and calendar from Outlook.com

Now set up z10 to do the same

You have just created your first cloud service that is synced across all your devices.

You are correct, of course. One just has to resect that SOME folks (me included) aren't crazy about having stuff in the "cloud". Maybe we're all too old school, but.....

I fought the cloud thing too, then I realised it was way more efficient. Sometimes I wouldn't have time to sync before going home and miss meetings the next day.

Hi, I just downloaded the updated BB Link version 1.1.1.26 that has the two way sync capabilities with outlook 7, and I just tried to sync my Z10 to outlook in my computer.....it goes through the motions, but it didn't sync any of my contacts or calendar from my Z10 to Outlook. I have the most up updated Version 10.1.0.273 on my Z10. I am only doing a One Way Sync from Z10 to Outlook on my computer, I didn't want to do a two way as I didn't want any duplication of my contacts. But it is not transferring any new contacts or updating in Outlook, and same goes for the calendar. Am I missing something, or doing something wrong?
