Has anyone been able to transfer all their phone contacts to their car? I am not having any luck with my Z10 and my Infiniti EX35. It was so easily done on my old 9700 from the paired device screen. I can't seem to find an option to transfer all from anywhere, including the bluetooth options and the contacts app.

I never had any trouble. I just deleted my old phone and installed the new one, the phone book and everything download automatically. I have a Ford Fusion.

Montero Limited owner here. The trucks address book is empty, however, if I say "Call John Smith" it retrieves the contact from the phone. Could you try that?

Did you find the option to transfer the contacts on your z10 or your Fusion? I can only get my EX35 to prepare to download contacts, but it won't complete because needs the phone to start the transfer.

My Contacts transfer nicely to my F10 BMW 535i, so does my SMSes, gmails and hot mails. My only gripe is that my POP emails are still not connected despite many correspondences with my telco, ISP and RIM. On my Torch 9860 (and also my previous 9800 and 9810) my Calendar and Reminders were also sync to my ride's on dash display unit (iDrive) after I purchased Avanquest's Bluetooth Calendar Sync (sadly not available for the Z10, yet, I hope they will do an upgrade soon). Gmails and Hotmail uses IMAP whereas some ISP uses POP email protocols.

For those with problems syncing, my suggestion is to delete the Bluetooth pairing on both the car and the Z10, and re-pair it again - allow sufficient time for contacts to sync over if you have more than a couple hundred contacts.

BMW owners with Combox (after Oct 2010 production should also be able to sync SMS messages and emails (sans POP emails) if the Office tab is available on your iDrive (country dependent).
