I decided im going to trade my z10 for the q10 when it comes out. I love my z10 and I love blackberry 10 but I have finally realized how much i miss a physical keyboard. A couple questions, is anyone else thinking of making this same trade? and, does anyone have any advice on what would be the most cost effective way to make this trade when the q10 does come out? Thanks

Not hear. Have been using Blackberries for over 10 years and never a touch screen. I love this phone, but I'm sure some are in the same boat and miss their keyboard.

I'm definitely going to get the Q10 - i love this Z10 but I do prefer the physical keyboard more.

Keeping my z10 for the screen size and the super-intelligent auto correct

But I would sell it in a second for my DREAM slider phone! Best of both worlds and most beautiful cell phone design ever conceived imo.

    Not going to.

I had my mind set on the Q10 even before I got my Z10. But my trial of the touch screen keyboard of the Z10 won me over. There is no need for a physical keyboard anymore. I can type faster on this phone than I could ever have done on my Bold 9900. With two thumbs typing.

Would be hard to give up on the larger screen size. I've enjoyed the larger screen size a lot. Mine you, on the Q10, the suggested words will appear in 3 columns that would ear into screen space. There won't be in - letters word suggestions.

AT&T started accepting the BlackBerry Z10 Trade-ins offering $99. I think that's a great offer for those who got a BlackBerry Z10 device and planning to move to the BlackBerry Q10

I have tried the z10 since verizon launch and have concluded that I will switch to Q10. Coming from a 9930 I miss my keyboard. Z10 is by far the best out there the way it works but I find I have to proof read my messages before sending them and that pretty much defeats the speedy typing ability.

I am changing from Z10 to Q10. Having lived with the Z10 for three months, I like almost everything about it except the keyboard. That is the reason I am changing, for the physical keyboard. I send many business emails and texts , and I find I am just not fast or accurate enough on the Z10. Yesterdays update to Z10 did improve sending texts some what. Regarding Blackberry Link switch. Anyone used this to move from Z10 to Q10. I can find some reference to this in the forums, but nothing definitive, can you keep data and settings etc on Z10 and also switch it to Q10,. My Q10 is arriving within the hour and I want to make the change over smoothly.

Update. Q10 arrived. Switched everything successfully from Z10. I am not one given to exuberance where mobile phones are concerned, I quite liked the Z10, but I love the Q10. Fits so easily in the hands. Messaging texts and emails effortless, delighted.
