Yes, I am running a leak. It's 2354 with 1881 radio. Tried other radio files with different minor results,

It seems the phone will loose it's data and cellular connection under weak signal conditions (1-3 bars).

My 8350, 9650, 9850 and all other BBs did not do this. Difference is also switching from USCC to Verizon.

My Z10 also displays the "Extended Network" notice many times during the day.
You also see it switch back or show the Verizon Network notice. Seems to be switching between the two a lot.

These are all issues found at home.

At work, I have not noticed this issue. Stronger signal (3-5 bars). No extended network notices. No dropped calls, so far.

This issue was not present with the OS that Verizon had on the phone and currently is the offical OS for Verizon Z10.
Never lost a signal with that OS.

But when I installed the leak, the reboots stopped and the low signal issue started.
Tried all the radio files. Even the ones that have been released officially.

I also see this issue with the postings in the leaked forums.

Could it had been a radio file (mostly CDMA) issue causing the reboots and the fix has caused a different issue with low end signal performance?

Are folks seeing this with their "official" updates to 10.1 with the reboot bug fix in it?
    CDMA users?

    Tim

Nope... running official .2354 with original .2355 radio on my STL100-2

No dropped calls, no lost signal, no lost data, and no random reboots.

Guess that's what you get when you start mixing radio files that were never intended for use with your device model.

Good point, I'm on Stl3- 2354-1881 as well no issues.

Has NOTHING to do with the mix. Two of the leaks/releases I have used and had the radio issues are the very same that will be released for my phone. Same radio file and all. Please lean more before making yourself look even worse.

News Flash. You use a different Z10 then I do on a different type of network. Thus radio files would be different.

Again not a 004. But it does make me think that there could be more then one cause. Hardware issue
with the 004 that they are masking with OS patch work?

I had the 2354-2355 and noticed dropped calls so I switched to 1881 haven't had any dropped calls but I do notice some device heat after extended use.

It has EVERYTHING to do with the radio mix.

None of the radio files you used will ever be officially released for your phone, because Verizon rejected them.

Please learn more before making yourself look an even bigger tool.

Yes. I'm on a different leak .2342, but have the dropped call issue too (sometimes with a stong LTE signal). Since changing the OS takes me several hours, and Verizon's new OS is supposed to be out soon, I'm trying to wait it out. Fingers crossed it's here soon.

Could it be that this issue is the reason why Verizon has not pushed an update?

BlackBerry says they have sent the carriers the updates, per BlackBerry.

Verizon says they don't have one from BlackBerry to release.

I have heard that the update was halted as carrier testing indicated a couple of items they wanted fixed.

I agree. Some other types of the Z10 do not have many folks being affected. So you might not have this issue. But a much higher number of Verizon users do have issues. Let's focus on that.

I'm on the 2342 leak and was getting dropped calls until I switched radio files to 1881. Haven't had any data issues at all except that sometimes the browser won't open a page. I have to close it and try again until it opens.

When the official os comes, I'll wipe my Z and restore to the official. After all this time, my thoughts are that it should be a darn good os.

I do feel you can't compare Verizon to the other models. I will say full 2016 removes both dropped calls and reboots on the 100-4. Still doesn't feel polished though.
