My boss is being awarded with some top medium sized business award today, and it was too much hassle getting his ipad and iphone connected to the 52" flat screen in his restaurant (his other business) for the powerpoint presentation.

So I stepped in and demoed my Playbook and Z10 combo over the HDMI .... he's well impressed. The Z10 is sitting on the lectern as a monitor screen and he's going to use my bridged Z10 in presenter mode to control the PowerPoint slides ..... and of course it's all going to be in front of a load of local influential business people.

    Go Blackberry ....go

Nicely done. You should take some photos, and share them in this thread

PS: I delete the other post since it is a duplicate, albeit different locations...

I would take photos ... but he's got both of my devices lol

No prbs about the deletion, I popped it in the Z10 and the Playbook areas as it was relevant to both I thought

This is great to hear that you were able to step up to the plate and show off how awesome the BB devices are. This is what the BB community needs, opportunities to show off what BB can do and spread the word about it. Once people are able to see what it can do, then they will get excited about it and start to talk more about it and get more interest for it. Keep up the good work.

A picture would be nice, just to show that the istuff is just sitting on the side.

    I have a quick question.

I'm bridged to my playbook from my Z10. On my old 9860 I used to have an icon to use the phone to use as a mouse pad.

How don't I do this on the Z10, I can't figure it out and amazingly I'm in a sitting room about to go into a presentation.

Open BlackBerry Bridge on the Z10, in the lower right corner is Remote Control. Under Remote Control there is a Presenter option in the lower right corner.

    Top opportunity-img_00000131.jpg

The lectern got changed for a leaflet holder to mount the Playbook in at the right angle as it was less intrusive than having to stand behind a lectern.....

The TV displayed Playbook in the top right corner all the way through the presentation .... I did actually find how to turn it off on the TV remote but just thought what the heck let it have it's bit of advertising

Oh and the Z10 and Playbook performed fautlessly

Kudos to the OP for the quick thinking. The boss should now trade in his iPhone for a BBRY!
