I plugged my Z10 in tonight and BlackBerry Link showed a software update that was all of around 36kb (I think - clicked update really fast). Anyone else get this? I am still showing version 10.0.10.88 so I'm not sure what happened. Just wondering if this is some glitch in BB Link or was some sort of actual update.

EDIT: So I see now that it added 2 AT&T apps and the WSJ app (which I already had installed). Not sure what else changed

That update is carrier apps or apps tied to the OS. If you delete any of these pushed apps, they will reappear again as an update with the same description/notification (i.e. Bloatware). Suggest you put them in a separate folder, as deleting will only result in the updates being sent back!

Yes, only now we lack the ability to hide the crapware. Too bad there's no way to block carrier software pushes beyond a class action suit, which would be thrown out because maybe seven people could understand why it's a bad thing.
