There is DLNA support however. It could be worth a try.

Anyway, there is another option if you want to send files to a computer wireless.

Is this the reason why apps like s beam, flash transfer, app sharer etc doesn't work on z10?

"S-Beam" is a Samsung feature that uses NFC together with wifi to transfer files quickly. Normally, a file transfer between devices uses BlueTooth which can be limited to 2 - 4 megabytes per second. If there are 2 Samsung devices, both with S-Beam activated, and if both are connected to the same wifi network, then the file transfer started using NFC will be completed using wifi, which can have speeds well in excess of 20 mbps.

Unfortunately, it appears that if S-Beam is activated, there is a default setting which prevents non-SBeam file transfers using NFC. That default setting is easily changed in the NFC or S-Beam settings area.

I find that most of the time, a DLNA connection will be available. Yes, limited to songs, videos on the phone, not streaming, but still it is useful in a lot of situations.

This is why I want the Z30 so badly. What I actually want is a touchscreen version of the Passport. But oh well...

Exactly my thoughts.. I'm enjoying my Z10 though it offers only DLNA. I'd have loved it more if it had Miracast, WiFi direct and FM. That's all in the Z30
