Default Is there a special pin for Blackberry 10?

    Hey

I called a store to buy the new BB10 Z10 but he told me the factory unlocked one sots 750$ but there is another one with special pin costs 850$ so is that true there is special pins or it's just by chance and he increased it's price?

    thanks

It could be by chance but I remember reading when they launched the Blackberry Porsche P'9981 they did a special range of PINs for the handsets.

Porsche Design P'9981 - Touch Screen Smartphone from BlackBerry UK - United Kingdom

"Enjoy a customised Porsche Design user interface (UI), which includes a premium Porsche Design PIN, unique to your P'9981 smartphone from BlackBerry, to help you easily identify other P'9981 from BlackBerry users around you."

So the store you visited may have a range of handsets with special PINs, but the storeowner may have just looked at the PINs on all his handset and noticed some 'good' patterns and decided to charge more for these handsets.

No, there's no "special PIN" edition of Z10 devices. It's possible that the dealer stumbled upon a device with a particular easy-to-remember PIN, for example with repeating numbers. This may be valuable to someone. If you're that sort of a person, the extra $100 may be worth to you. It won't give you any "special" status with BlackBerry but other BlackBerry users might think your PIN is snazzy.
