Hi guys can't seem to find the auto on/off feature on my Z10. I'm hoping that I've overlooked this feature somehow. That would be a damn shame if it's not there! Anyone who can help?

Its no there. Legacy devices didn't really turn off unless you removed the battery. It was some sort of hibernation mode allowing for quick and timed "boots".

The Z10 acts like any other smartphone and actually shuts down when you tell it to.

I think the notion was that auto-lock would be enough. And the truth is, once the phone puts itself to sleep it has a good couple of days of standby time.

Yeah you don't really need to turn the z10 off at all.
