I'm using a Z10STL100-3/10.3.1.1016 and everything about the text messaging is awful.

I updated to the 10.3.1 and everything was fine for several weeks and for the past month or so my text messaging almost completely does not work.

If I open a message I get a blank screen sometimes. If i make a draft then delete the text contents the draft box stays. Certain contacts can text me and I won't get the notification that they did and the only way I can see their message is if I try to compose a new message to them. Some texts won't come through. I'll send some texts and they will send but the conversation won't show my message at all. The list goes on and on.

Anyone have any suggestions? I've tried doing all the basic stuff like restarting, reloading the hub, power down power up etc. No progress at all.

Are you running any android apps , try deleting and reinstall one by one ,you might find one of them is the problem.

Im running the same leak and haven't run into such problems but I've noticed texting to be a little sluggish but that's probably because of it being an unofficial os.

Also started having battery monitor issues as well. I've been having them off and on for a while but it was rare and I considered it to be a small problem but it's gotten much worse today. My phone has been shutting off and "dying" at anywhere from 10 to 25 to 45% and when I finally get it turned back on the monitor says 74% or almost fully charged basically. I've checked the battery monitor and it says text messaging is using the majority of my battery. I charge my phone over night until about 8 am and then sometimes by noon it's dead.

Maybe all you had to do was change your radio.

Just noticed that whenever I delete a text message in the hub it stops notifying me of new messages from that person. That's when I have to compose a new message to see if they've sent new messages

Current leak is 2267. Why not try updating?

FWIW, I've been leaking since 10.3.0, and no texting issues.

Great suggestion, I'm not the most tech savvy guy anymore so I haven't been keeping up on the leak updates. I would imagine the links are all in the leak thread? Also curious, the new os is being released now. In order to upgrade from the leak to the release will I have to downgrade my os in order to get the update?
