    Why is it when I receive a message from someone in a group text, I also get the last text sent to me from that specific contact? example: text from mom last night, group text involving mom today. Everytime I get the group text, I also get mom's text from last night.

    It will group 'grouped' messages with individual received messages if the message is received from the SAME Contact. Not the est solution, but I've noticed that's how it works...
