Cause the us charges us $20 per months extra in addition to our data plans and only gives us 2 gbs. That's why

    Bump.

Either T-Mobile should leave it untouched or I need a new tethering app D:

I think with a custom app for blue tooth tethering we could get away with it. Maybe.

I have AT&T and have the Tethering plan ($30/mo extra). The Z10 does support tethering but I have not been able to get it to work yet. Trying to tether my Playbook to the Z10 over Bluetooth. I have not tried the hot spot yet. One of the reasons for upgrading from my 9810 was to be able to do this.

You are supposed to be able to tether with a USB cable and the Hot Spot as well as Blue Tooth. I was able to do all of these things with my 9810 but it was H+ speed only. The Z10 has LTE so the connection should be faster - assuming AT&T does not throttle it down to save bandwidth.

Really hope someone finds a work around for this. PlayBook has Bridge but love to tether my laptop from time to time.

Just got off the phone with Verizon Tech Support. Tethering is natively supported if your plan allows it (otherwise, there is a charge for the function). I have Share Everything which includes Mobile Hotspot and Tethering for free. However, I have not been able to get the tether function to work as of yet. I may need to install drivers or something. Hotspot works just fine. I was away from my laptop, so I couldn't try anything with Tech Support

There is no way in **** I am gonna pay $30/month just to tether. That is simply insane. I really hope tether.com makes a bb10 app soon.

I have always stated for years to use PDANET as know one has issues with it on any carrier.

I used it many times on other device platforms as well.

You can also use hotspot feature on the Z10.

But if you want corded tethering for laptop or whatever, use PDANET

PdaNet -- Use your BlackBerry as a USB Modem

Forgot to mention it costs $15.95

I doubt it works with the Z10. It might work with older BB but not with the Z10.

I hope someone comes up with a work around. This is a deal breaker for me when I can bypass their stinking charges on other devices and can't on a bb. Deal breaker for me.

Not everything that good is for Free? Tethering use to be FOR FREE a couple years ago. Carriers just got smart and saw a way to make money. Just like PDANET is making money off you.

As for carriers, well hey make a few bucks why not after all it is business no?

If you can afford a plan and a NICE z10 or whatever, I am sure you can afford awesome app like PDANET.

Did you try it for Z10?

If so please post a video of it not working so others can be well informed if it and then pass this info to PDANET.
