I have a friend who is with Telus. She is on a month to month contract.
Can she get the Z10 deal?
I was thinking she can switch to prepaid if necessary but I am not sure. If she goes with prepaid, is there a minimum length of the contract or is it like normal prepaid where you can leave after a month?
Is the phone unlocked because she is thinking of switching carriers in the near future.
Any insight would be appreciated.

In pretty sure I saw a thread this weekend about a $199 prepaid Z10 at Telus. Maybe check their website?

Thanks, that is where I saw it. I am just asking for details about how the deal would work. Can she still get it if she is on month to month? Does she have to switch to prepaid?
Would there be an activation fee?
Can she leave after a couple of months? etc.

Your friend can go buy the phone. They probably won't make her activate the z10.

Even if they do, it comes with a prepaid micro sim.

If she already has an active micro Sim, she can insert it into the z10. If not she can go buy a micro Sim for $10.00+ taxes and change it over herself with her online account.

I saw the z10 no contract at best buy for 199.99$ last week, I think it was telus.. something to look at, it's a great deal
