Today at 6:00am on June 6th 1944 the allies forces of the United States, Canada, British stormed of the beaches of France with an armada never before seen in world, to free Europe from the strangle hold of intolerance and true evil. I'm not trying to be political, I just think the greatest "Sin" would be to forget the allied soldiers sacrifice on that day.

    No harm done.
Usually non-tech discussion take place in the lounge/off-topic forum.

I visited Auschwitz once, and it's was a weird experience, to say the least. But it really confirmed my beliefs that we should never let anything like that happen again. Ever.

Completely true. Every year on Memorial day (May 4th in the Netherlands), some of the old veterans (the ones who are still left) from Canada, US and GB come over to the Netherlands. And every time I see them, I'm getting emotional, knowing those guys risked their lives to set us free. Very impressive and definitely not to forget.
