AT&T Updates

Just had a chat with a rep from AT&T via the web. They do have the same stuff that VZW and TMO do...here is the link, if you do a search for BlackBerry 10 on their website thought nothing comes up.

Thanks, I registered my email address so that 1) I'll know when it's out and 2) they know I'm interested in BB10

My wife will be VERY disappointed about the delay. She was really looking forward to picking one up this week. (Even I'm soured, what a let-down!)

My chat with an ATT rep today suggested they had no information at all. The guy tried to sell an alternate device. Was happy to find that link and sign up. Sometimes the company is really frustrating.

Yea I had that conversation earlier too but was determined to find someone who knew something so I tried another chat and got lucky I guess. I was happy, the coming soon logo will get me through until....who knows for sure....let's hope it is before March...or March 1st....

I spoke with two AT&T reps today from two different stores. Here's what they said:

AT&T Rep 1: They will definitely be carrying BlackBerry 10 devices. They currently carry the Bold 9900 and other BlackBerry devices, so they can say that they will be carrying BlackBerry 10 phones. As for when, he didn't know.

AT&T Rep 2: They will be carrying BlackBerry 10 for sure, but didn't say or know when.

Now, just a week ago, I had gone into these stores and personally asked about BB10 and these reps knew nothing. Clearly, they are being trained on the devices now. I am a bit skeptical about what Thorsten said about the U.S. carriers. Both of these reps said with absolute certainty that they'd be getting the devices. Perhaps Thorsten meant that the U.S. should have the devices BY March, and that they may release before? I just find it hard to believe that reps (who are normally kept in the dark until right before release) know as much as they do for a device coming in almost 8 weeks.

I went into a store today and they still new absolutely nothing at all about it.. he also indicated thAt I couldn't be the fault of AT&T it had to be blackberry but he also said that a lot of people had been calling wanting the devices, maybe if there are enough people interested they will speed up the process.... although in considering the picket signs and protesting outside of their cooperate offices lmao!!!
