General release to consumers shouldn't be too far behind.

Glad to see some movement on the Z10 in the U.S. I'm on VZW and not a word from their email sign-up. Being this close to that "sometime in March" release, you'd think they would be trying to build some anticipation with at least a few teaser emails to all those who signed up for news.

This is NOT the way for carriers to get behind what could be a great product launch... but then they never seem to be too excited about BB. I do hope I am wrong on that!

This has to mean WiFi calling is coming later.

The T Mobile Z10 definitely has a snapdragon inside. The OMAP version will not work on Tmobile's network.

    Someone is just sloppy.

Qualcom processor? I thought it was supposed to have snapdragon?

T-Mobile normally sells to business customers about a week before they start selling to everyone else. If this happens to be true this time around, we should have this phone before the 20th. Not too bad.

This is so great! There has been a lot posted recently about AT&T and VW. I just can't wait to get my hands on one, I've been with T-Mo for 10 years and have been holding on to my upgrade for about a year now. So glad the wait is almost over!

Tethering and hotspot manipulation (limitation by the carrier) springs to mind.
I'm quite sure T-Mobile does not mean that the phone will have wifi capability disabled. They are referring to the ability to do wifi-calling using your T-Mobile number, e.g. if you are in a building with good wifi but no indoor reception you can still receive normal calls to your number via the wifi.

"General" wifi is obviously going to be untouched... it would be suicidal to sell an expensive smartphone without basic wifi capability.

Well, March 11th is not for consumer it is for B2B (Business to Business) only. However, for consumer, I think, it is close to end of March.

I find it hard to believe that they would or could block wifi on a device. Unless they don't want you using Skype, oh that's right we don't have that yet. I would not buy this device for my wife then (I have an open Z10 that I got through other channels), which is a shame.

A guy just called me from TMO on just a general follow up call to see how my phone was working.
I was the one who had to initiate the discussion on the Z10 however. He said it will be available Monday and that he could get me one quickly.

I'm sure I'll know more than him about the device.

I can't believe AT&T are letting T-Mobile beat them to the punch.

Then again, I bet it has to do with them always releasing Apple iOS products first. You know what they say, "Money talks, and..."

I think I read something last year on the processor supposedly being newer or different brand on the US z10. So basically the US or Newer Z10 come with the snapdragon proccesors don't quote me though I don't remember the source and may not have been credible.

T-Mobile does get the entry level devices though so they may have tried to cut cost and just grabbed the original z10s .

I remeber when the 9900 came out on tmobile and read the LABELS ON THE 9900 BOXES AND IT SAID THE 9900 CAME WITH A DUAL CORE 1.5 Processor it was and Lbaeling error so we just had to cros it out and they corrected the. Labels on the next shipment though.
The US/Canada Z10s get the Snapdragon S4. The other variants get an OMAP 4470.

I'd much rather use Snapdragon S4. I trust it over TI OMAP. So far, having used the Snapdragon STL-103 version for 1 month, I don't feel any lag at all.
