Ok, has anyone that successfully got the 10.1 update figured out yet how to turn off the annoying on-screen gesture help animations?

The gesture arrows will go away soon. Be patient. They only lasted about an hour for me. You may also get an occasional warning about using the charger that came with the phone. That stopped for me...mostly. I saw it again yesterday in the car. I hadn't seen it for a long time before that.

I wouldnt have an issues cleaning that folder out if I could set it up that way. My thing is having so many emails on the Z10, I like to reply to them , then delete , keep thing tidy on it.

Do you know where I can find instruction to set the saved folder up?...

A saved message folder is not a standard thing and it does not exist on the phone. You just make a folder in your email Web site and write a rule to copy every email that comes in to that folder. I don't use AOL or Yahoo so I don't know if they have such capability. I know Exchange could and I'm pretty sure Gmail could. So, to answer your question, I have no idea where you could find instructions.

Sell your BlackBerry Z10 and get a new one. My friend did that and was able to get the update.

Anyway I successfully updated mine and I use AT&T (Z10STL100-3/10.1.0.2025).

Typical AT&T...

They've somehow botched the OS update push and instead of just communicating it and letting their customers know what is going on and when to expect it to be corrected, they say nothing and let the aggravation build. To be a communications company, there sure are an extremely poor communicator!

But yet, when they have something new that will put even more money in their coffers, they will blow up your inbox, mailbox and TV set with Ads.

I should have downloaded OS 10.1.0.2006 when it was availabile from AT&T this morning. AT&T inexplicably retracted the software later on, so it is not available at this time. My device is still on 10.0.10.116.

How can I get the Update for my phone, as I don't have AT&T SIM? Is there anyway?

Got the update. Some initial observations:

1. BlackBerry Link now does a full backup of the device without failing (including apps)
2. Skype works great
3. The keyboard is a lot better

Agree with 1 & 3. But Skype locks up everytime I launch it and I have to force close when prompted on mine.

Individual notification controls for each app work great as well.
