Can someone kindly explain what does Sync Interval means on my blackberry? I can set it from anything up to 24 hours. WHat does it really mean?

    thanks

It's when your app gets synced up. Say I set up google calendar in the z10 calendar. I set my sync to 15 minutes. Every 15 minutes, my z10 calendar will sync up with my google calendar and add whatever is new on my google calendar to my z10 calendar. Syncing in short times will use more battery. I usually do manual or hours long.

If you do manual, does that mean you have to go into email and refresh the page to work?

No, you refresh it on your phone. If you slide your fingers down, a refresh button will appear. You just click it and it syncs for you.

If you have "Use push if supported", you'll still get your email immediately. The sync interval applies to how often calendar events, contact changes or email read/unread status and filing are synced.
