I had a couple of chronic problems with my z10 which I attributed to BlackBerry. My phone would never show a 4g lte connection to the Rogers network. Also more recently my personal hotspot would become unresponsive after timing out and I could not reconnect unless I did a full cold restart of my phone. I recently changed the sim to the bell network and was surprised that both of these issues disappeared. Lte connection, and personal hotspot back to working perfectly. If I know my issues were Rogers centric I would have switched.much sooner.

Whatever the problem, leaving Rogers is the solution. Doesn't even have to be about phones.

I'll keep that in mind. Unfortunately I no longer have any business with Rogers, so the next big problem I have I'll have to join just to exercise the fix by leaving again.

Maybe it was the sim card and not the carrier???

I was thinking the same thing. I've got great LTE coverage with my Rogers Z10, and never have a problem with hotspot timing out (other than the inactivity timer working as it's supposed to). Oh well, at least you got away from Robbers Though I find them all to be just as evil.

Rogers network was always spotty in my area. Since moving to bell and now Virgin I have had no issues.

Duck rogers!! Bell is the best if you dont mind paying an arm and a leg for services lol. Been with bell for 6 years and have zero regrets they really are the better of 3 evils much better than rogers by a country mile

I've never had any issues with Rogers coverage - in fact 10+ years ago I went with Rogers for the coverage! I've only seen it get better for me at home and at my island cottage. At work our cell provider is Bell and most people have to leave buildings to get a signal - I have never had an issue with Rogers and have made clear as day calls with top signals from Swimming Pool filtration rooms (under ground, surrounded by concrete and pump noises).

I've had billing and account issues with Rogers over the years and yes, I've wanted to pull my hair out at times but they've always managed to fix it.

So, I'm a happy customer and my Z10STL100-3/10.2.1.2141 has no issues - knock on wood!

Here's one for you: my wife has an iPhone and is on Rogers and I am on a Z10 with Bell.

In downtown Toronto I get a more consistent signal but lose out quicker as we go underground but...

Here's the funny one - she can't get a consistent solid signal in the ROGERS CENTRE while my signal is quite strong!
