    Hey folks like the title states their is times when I pick my phone up and swipe up to awake my phone but it takes so long for the black screen to power up and show my phone! Thoughts?

    Its always good to be check if your smartphone is in good condition .and if the lagging happens you may reboot or reload your bbz10.

    That happens sometime. Reboot or reload may helps, but when using android apps I have to keep reloading.

    I did a hard reset holding down the volume buttons and seems to have fixed the problem for now. Reason I posted is because it had did the same thing to me about a month ago. Guess z10 is reaching old age status.

    When was the last time you reinstalled the OS? Time consuming I know, but it does cure a lot of ailments.

    I'm not going biggest fan of this "reinstalling the OS". Time consuming for one and for example I tried backing up my device the other week onto my computer and it kept freezing and not doing a fill backup! So thinking I'd be successful on doing a OS reinstall has me very sceptical.

    It's unfortunate I do love my z10 even after so many years of ownership.

    Do a hard reset at least once a week whether you think you need it or not! Won't hurt and takes less than 5 minutes.
