Superbowl commercial (thoughts?)
I found it to be interesting. 30 seconds is definitely not enough to show much of BB10. The idea of "showing what it can't do" what cool.

I thought it was terrible

Oh my god it was awful. Again who in the **** is doing the marketing for Blackberry? I thought it was terrible.

Oh boy... I hope others disagree, however that did nothing for me. I thought it was terrible.... Couple that with the fact that it won't be available here in the US for a couple of months, not good....

Too short, too meh.
It was at least somewhat memorable though. - 02-03-2013, 07:47 PM #9

I liked the commercial. I also do understand the "huh" comments too. My girlfriend looked at me when the commercial finished and she looked totally confused. So it was a mixed reaction in my room. I had to rewind it so she can get the gist of it, but, she still didn't like it.

as a general ad, ok.
for an ad that cost 4 million to air alone, it was poorZ10 Brigade member - 02-03-2013, 07:52 PM #17Z10 Brigade member

Horrible!! The other one on youtube looked soooo much better...they should have used that! Or at least show the camera, which would appeal to the public! I agree with the other poster...terrible launch...terrible commercial. I truly think they are making all the wrong moves.

My biggest concern prior to the commercial airing was that 30 seconds wasn't enough to show all the cool features of the phone. I guess it was their's too lol.
I liked it, a second or two more of the last screenshot would have been better for me though - 02-03-2013, 07:54 PM

I feel the same way. Blackberry needs to step up their presence now. Billboards, commercials, metro area buses (i.e. NYC) will also be great for the success of BB10 in this city. Although the concensus around my circle of friends (which is mostly Android followed by iOS) has been positive about BB10, thus far.

Weak. Will be forgotten in the morning. Except here.

I didn't like it but I don't think it hurt BB beyond burning some cash. I generally think all the cell phone ads suck though. The apple ads are stupid children book ads for the most part...like a protected yuppy garden of good thoughts. The Droid ads are written for 15 year old boys...as evidenced by our handful of android fanboys who live on Crackberry. I do like the windows phone 8 ads though.

Was better the second time around, though there won't be for most
