    I am from Romania and I've traveled all the way to UK just to buy the BB Z10.

    Do I have to wait until april-may (the announced launch date in Ro) to update my software????

    Over the air, most likely, with an autoupdated (like the leaked ones), no.

    I updated my Middle Eastern version to 10.0.1.261 via the leaked autoupdater. Check opensourcebb.com but you need to be careful to choose the correct version for your phone.

    Usually the new "official" releases will also make their way in an user upgradeable form for us neglected "always want the latest" guys.
