I am trying to use Blackberry Link to transfer my stuff from my 9810 to my Z10.

I get to step 4 where I connect my Z10 and it is supposed to recognize it and then let me continue but nothing at all happens.

Do I need drivers for it or something? Shouldn't those autoinstall?

I am using Windows 8.

Same here, im trying to find a fix since 1pm -.- im trying to transfer it manually but my computer doesn't even recognize it (windows 8)

Ok, so I had that problem too. I realized that for the both the usb and the audio jack, the sockets are tight, so your cable might no actually be inserted completed. I had to apply a bit of force, and sort of felt it actually go in ( That is not what she said... ) [Note: You Z10 should display a message saying it is connected to the computer]. And then it took 15 seconds for link to recognize it. Also don't be shocked if it seems like stuff hasnt been synced post that step. It takes a while. My contacts list was empty for quite a while till it actually started populating it.

I got it working.

First I rebooted my computer. No help.

Then I rebooted my Z10. It now works!

With Windows 8 I had to go into device manager and update the driver... Apparently Windows 8 and BlackBerry don't get along... I had a similar problem with my 9900, although in that case I had to roll back the driver.
