I am trying to stream XM radio from the browser since the ported XM crashes. But the stream stops when The browser goes dark. Anyway to have the browser keep playing the song in the background without forcing the leave the screen on?

Does the app normally run in the background when you're in another app? Also, does it stop playing right away when the screen goes dark, or does it take a few seconds/minutes?

I just tried it with youtube; if you minimize the video while it's playing, then the screen goes off (or your press the standby button at the top of the phone), it'll continue to play with the screen off.
