My BlackBerry z10 keeps running out of storage. I have done the hole move everything to a SD card, but I can watch my system storage rise every time I make room. It is now 6.5 gb of my phones 16gb of storage. Does anyone know what I can do or is my phone done?

    Hoping to see some replies.

Back up everything important and wipe your device. Over time, the OS and apps collect a lot of 'junk' files and a wipe would clear some of it out. The only issue with that is, if you do a full restore of everything you're likely loading the issue right back onto your fresh device. I dunno how long you've had your device but I generally wipe mine and start fresh every 6-8 months (or less). Keeps things tip top.

My culprit was android apps. Try deleting a few. See what happens and then reinstall one at a time.

I just hating wiping. Such a pain in the *** to restore and get it setup right again.

So I have wiped it then restored and it still happening. So I tried removing all android apps and it's still doing it. Could my phone be the problem. After wiping it I had 6.5 gb of free space and my storage was only 3 and with in the hour it went up to over 8 and I'm out of storage room.

So what I did to fix the problem is to do a factory reset using BlackBerry Link and then it worked. I have put all my apps on again and no problems since. But I did not do a restore. I didn't want to chance it and waste another 4 hours.

    Cheers
