    How many accounts do you have - Email, Social Media.... these are each going to eat into your storage capacity.

    Have you installed many APK? Even if you uninstall the app, the original installation APK is still there. Get a file explorer app like Files & Folders, look around..... Or do a clean install.


    You need to try loading a fresh copy of Windows 8.1..... see how much storage that uses up

    I'm pissed off because I recently got this phone and already 8.9 is used out of 16 and I barely downloaded anything like WTF

    You aren't getting all 16gigs to yourself. There is a portion reserved for system files. This is what I got.

    So a SD card is recommended for files, photos, video, the internal space I mostly reserve for apps.
