I have Z10 from Rogers, Bell and Telus but only the Rogers got an update to 10.0.10.85 but the Bell and Telus has not received it yet, I even try to check the update every day via Wifi.

Does anyone know how to update it?

The current OS on the Z10 Bell is 10.0.10.261 and the Telus is still 10.0.9.2372

I'm with telus an my z10 has 10.0.10.85 and I got that update a week or so after launch.

If i remember correctly, they all got 10.85 (or 10.xx) rolled out within a few days of eachother OTA. You can try BB link but you should have received the update OTA. (a fix some used was to swap the sim card, e.g Rogers into their Z10, it must be unlocked though!).

Ooppss... Sorry guys for the misleading title.

Somehow, my bell still running on the old OS and when I try to update it, it said "you have the latest software". Do you know how to backload the OS like the older Blackberry (9900 and older)?

The update yesterday is the .85 or you had .85 and just a small update yesterday? I don't know what make yours and mine are different. I bought it and unlock it, bring it overseas and not getting the update. However, did the same with Rogers and got an update right away.

Hey guys, to be sure of your version, go to your text app and compose a text and type " myver" and look at the area where the on screen space bar is to see your actual version... mines is Z10STL100-3/10.0.10.684
The software release version is 10.0.10.88.

update from stock OS to 10.85 was around 149MB. A small update like 6mb would be related to bloatware or carrier pushed apps (or any apps deleted that were originally pushed to the phone).

If you are overseas using a different sim card, this is one reason you won't get the update unless that carrier has pushed out the update! You need to have the sim in the device from a carrier to which has pushed out the update. (this is why some wanted a rogers sim who were in the UK or US for example so they could potentially get the update)

You can try BB Link or get access to a sim card from a carrier where you are located which has pushed out the update.

Funny, I had an update yesterday to 10.0.10.85 and it is displayed in setting>Soft ware Updates. Using the Type in myver it displays 10.0.10.672. I'm on Telus and have yet to reap the benefits of improved battery life after the first OS update, but today it seems better.
