I think many in the middle east like me who bought Z10 STL100-2 mainly for the 4G support, The problem now is that our carriers will not update our devices as they are only selling STL100-1 !! I tried to avoid my carrier and update through BB link , with and without sim, and tried the BB update page and failed in both !! I even contacted Vodafone UK to acquire about possibilities of buying sim but they require UK address which i don't have , and i am not too comfortable of using leaked os's !!
There will not be any solution without BB getting involve in this matter as i don't think our carriers will be selling STL100-2 in the near future ..
I hope BB officials read this post and consider an alternative for us !!

Try an England Vodafone SIM card, In China we can bought one on the net around 1 dollar. No carrier signal of course , but with WIFI, the update is avialable. 10.0.10.90. Very simple~~ Good luck~

In China, we can buy a Vodafone SIM card on taobao.com (an online shopping website like ebay), so i guess maybe u could try to find one on ebay

You can buy the 4G model with warranty for around 2500 SAR through www.jadopado.com Dubai based company.

STC's marketing manager tweeted about a few weeks ago that the first batch of Blackberry's will not be LTE and later models they're getting "in the next 2 months" will support 4G. I wouldn't bet the 4G models will come this soon though but we will see i guess l

I am not sure really if it is blackberry or service providers that are limiting the 4G !! My iphone runs LTE and i have same provider as for the Z10 !!

All Z10s in the middle east don't support 4G. People who bought from the UK and websites such as jadopado have 4G.

However no one had been able to make it work yet.
