The same problem of Calendar alert sound and vibration was gone after 10.3 update but after wipe alerts for calendar starts working fine. Need help on restoring the word substitutes back. Please suggest. Thanks in advance.

Doing a security wipe but not being able to restore the data is not a viable fix. Also checking the sounds doesn't fix it, neither does restoring the notification profile to default, altering the sound to another type, etc. I have contacted Blackberry support about this issue.
The knowledge base has a similar issue saying it's under investigation.

Use Remember App's Task feature in lieu of Calendar for now

For what it is worth, this is what I did to get Calendar notifications working with the latest OS 10.
- Factory Reset the phone
- Start up the phone and make sure to have the latest OS update
- Test calendar audio notifications (working fine)
- Chose a custom restore and do not restore Device Settings and Local contacts Calendar
- You can restore Application data and Media
- You will lose your contacts, and previous Calendar data

Tested Audio alerts, and they were working fine.

I have the problem that the Remember app doesn't work now - no notifications at all and the app doesn't appear in 'Customise App Notifications. Calendar works fine.
