Hi. How can I realize if a z10 is stl2 or stl1 when I purchase a new phone which is packed.
And which one is better?

By asking the retailer or just looking on the device box
Both are kinda equal tbh, except that the -1 cannot use 4G LTE (just normal 4G or H+) and that it has a slightly better GPU than the -2, but that isn't something that matters too much

STL2 is better since its got a processor which is 35% faster than the one on STL1, get the STL2 if possible to experience the best of the Z10

Go to settings then about then you can see on the model number if it's stl100-1 or stl100-2. Or on the side of the box you can see what model you're device is.

I can't really say which is better. Although stl100-2 is 4G/LTE capable and has a qualconn snapdragon processor with an adreno GPU (which makes it possible to have dark themes). While stl100-1 sports a Texas instruments OPMAP. Both models run at 1.5GHz.

Some say stl100-2 is better and more "fluid" when it comes to navigation and movement. Stl100-1 was originally made for countries without 4G/LTE capabilities.

But hey, those are both BlackBerrys. You can't go wrong with either of these.
