I miss my z10 but in my country there is the stl 100-1 everywhere that is being sold.

Used to have the 100-1 but battery indicator issue was frustrating me and decided to sell it a year a go.

Im really looking for 100-2 or 3 but after 2 days of searching so many stores, they just dont have it.

Has 10.3.2 fixed the indicator issue or you still have to do that nonsese pull out battery for hour and charge to full blabla? Thanks

No it hasn't, the issue is still there.
Well it's a hardware problem, latest update won't solve it.

I used to have 100-2 when it was released till it broke down and I shifted to ip.
Then Recently I bought another Z10 but this time 100-1 and I don't know what you are talking about.
I heard a lot about this battery issue but didn't face it on mine.

My device is running perfectly.
I am searching for a 100-2 now for the LTE coverage.
Otherwise I may get a Z30 but the problem is that I love the sharp screen of the Z10.

Sooner or later the calibration issue will strike. Yes security wipe is the main cause but not necessary, sometime the problem appears from no where..
Better opt for 100-2

After 10.3.1 update the calibration is know happening occasionally but the problem is still there

I used Z10STL100-1 approximately. 1.5 yrs....but the battery calibration problem started when my security wipe failed......and that battery issue was permanent for that phone...even when I updated it to 10.3 the problem was still there...and due to heat and. Battery problem I sold my device to electronic e-waste company..with a good price

Right now I am using Z30....and the battery is brilliantly impressive I am getting 18 hrs of average battery life..

How do u compare Z10 and Z30 now after using both devices

I got z30 too but it frustrates me. Updated to 10.3.2.2339 and now my wifi signal is halfed as it used to be. That means connection dropping in my kid's room, toilet, and backyard where it was almost full wifi signal before. So no more browsing in closet which sucks lol.

Other than that, I love the battery, speaker sound is good but the placement on the back is bad because I often cover the hole while I watch videos so muffled sound happens. I hate the size of the z30. Not comfortable to use. Using it for a week made me miss my z10 and q10.

BlackBerry Z10
It was a perfect sized phone.....loved it sharp screen....camera was appreciated by my most of the freinds and relatives...performance was above avaerage....but the hillarious battery problems...and overheating issues........and at last the indian version had different specs....in compared of other Z10 models...I am talking about STL100-1
100-1 has only 3G bands,no 4G bands..
100-1 has different processor...which clocks between 1.2GHz to 1.5 GHz.......named Mediatek Etc.
So my experience with Z10 was not bad neither good also....

BlackBerry Z30
First of all it has better battery life which gives me an average of 18-19 hrs...after that I love the speakers.....the stereo speakers made it better in media field......it has almost every type of 4G bands except TDD-LTE...
It has bigger screen but lower sharpness makes me somewhat regretting....no overheating issues.....higher processor....
Camera is little bit below than that the Z10 had....hope will improve it in next os update....

So I dont have any conclusion for buyers.....i just shared my experience with both of the phones....both phones are better at their own...

after update to 10.3.2.858, i rarely have battery problem anymore.
if you feel the phone starting too hot, just pull the battery, cooling the phone and the batterry, and put it back again, this only happen maybe just one time a week for me.

Maybe you should try a different radio file it may solve the wifi problem.

Yes i did last night. Flashed 10.3.2.859 radio. Wifi is much improved. Still not as good as pre-10.3.2 but at least it's not dropping connection anymore.

forgive me my ignorance in the topic at hand, but what exactly is the battery indicator problem on z10 stl100-1?

Battery indicator is off sync with actual capacity. It's like the actual battery is at 0% but the indicator on screen says still has 20%. So the phone will turn off at random point like 20%, 40% or even still running for hours at 0%. Usually this issue occurs when you security wipe or update the os in stl 100-1. Doesnt happen in 100-2,3 or 4.

I didn't have this issues on my second Z10 which is St100-1 maybe because from day one it's on 10.3.1 and the battery has been improved for me on this OS
