- When I make a call, there's a long lag before it starts to dial.
It's been like that for quiet a few OS updates.
Is this a known problem or do I need to change something in settings?

After swipe to answer, the BlackBerry will have delay (think first for a while) before the voice coming and slow when process check balance or type three numbers that show services from operator.

08-05-15 04:29 AMLike 0 - That you mentioned to close screen reader, I had tried, no result, the slow in launch a call, receive incoming call, delay while swipe to answer till the voice coming and slow (delay) when dial *889# to see quota balance still not fix.08-05-15 04:32 AMLike 0

To compare, I also have a Passport with a Telkomsel SIM card in it, but it doesn't have the voice call feature and all calls are always fast, no lags at all.
I haven't tried to switch the SIM cards or anything to prove this theory further, though.

I use XL and I notice that my phone is automatically set to forward all failed incoming calls to a certain number for voice mail. For some reasons, that's what makes the call lags. The lags on my Z10 is not severe, only 2-3 seconds top. However, what concerns me is the fact that I cannot delete this option at all.

Yes I am. Carrier problem? If this is because of carrier problem, why previously use (before use Z10) LG G2, Sony Xperia Z C6602, Motorola RAZR XT910, Sony Xperia TX, Samsung Galaxy Note II, Nokia Lumia 520, Samsung Galaxxy Ace 2, I never face this slow call problem? OK, say, those Android, different. Now, why my friend's BlackBerry Q10 used Telkomsel SimPATI (OS 10.2.1) were very fast when launch a call? I had noticed it. I used the same SIM card from Android till BlackBerry Z10.
You might be should give it a try to switch your SIM card, XL used in Passport, see if there is problem like this or not.08-05-15 05:44 AMLike 0 - ----------------------------------------------------------------

Regardless, I still think it's a carrier problem. Either that, or a model problem. The Z10 STL 100-1 is notoriously bad with battery calibration, for instance. Mine is 100-4, and having this call lags, despite being only mildly.
Z10STL100-4/10.3.2.2339 on XL Network08-05-15 06:14 AMLike 0 - Heh. Unfortunately, it's not that easy. Passport uses nano sim card. I'm not cutting my XL just to have it fit in it. And Simpati is my main card.

Think about Z10, last time I asked a handphone counter in Roxy Mas, said that BlackBerry Z10 authorized warranty is no more again. So, importers bought STL100-2, STL100-3 and STL100-4, gave distributor warranty, those boxex that show name model were covered by Dirjen Postel sticker, so common consumers will difficult to choose model type. Ask which model that supports 4G 900 MHz or ask STL100-2, they (seller) would say don't know about this. Because BlackBerry strategy that make Z10 becomes 4 models.
Well, I would see if BlackBerry next time release new firmware update again that fix everything or not or.... maybe I should buy Android again to change my Z10. :-D
Honestly, the call lag very annoys me.
Posted via CB1008-05-15 08:03 AMLike 0 - Well, I know for sure my Passport doesn't have this problem. Perhaps you should try the Passport? Or, when you buy another BlackBerry next time, do it retail so you could test the call features on the spot to see if the problem persists. I always buy retail if I could.

I dislike Passport, I never like all phones that have QWERTY physic, I don't like them. That's why I never buy old BlackBerry (Gemini, Curve, Bold, Storm, Dakota, Apollo, Samoa, Bellagio, Monza, Torch).
Posted via CB1008-05-15 08:21 AMLike 0 - Retail you meant, authorized shop named BlackBerry that like Samsung Plaza or 'Samsung' named in the top shop, many SPGs standing near several devices test for visitor?

Don't remember if it started in a 10.3.0 or 10.3.1 build. Reduced to 2-3 seconds in 10.3.2.2339, but still there and damn annoying.

So STL100-3 was experience the same too. Conclusion, BlackBerry can't fix this issue, or state this is not issue or just don't care about it.

- I had tried once wipe my Z10 using Z10 inside Settings, but I forgot which version OS 10.3.2 that I'd done. I did once wipe security among OS 10.3.2.680, 10.3.2.798 and OS 10.3.2.840. Nothing help, it was temporary fix, after 2 days or 3 days, the problem came back again.
