I've had my BlackBerry z10 since Tuesday. I'm still only getting 4-5 hours per charge. Last night I fully charged the device before going to bed using the supplied charger. When I woke up it was completely dead. There were no apps running. It takes me 4 hours to fully charge the z10 using the supplied charger.

I'm on Verizon 4G, no wi-fi, no bluetooth. OS 10.0.9.422. I have 4 accounts in my BlackBerry Hub: 1 ActiveSync, 1 IMAP, Facebook and Twitter. The AS account is running on Exchange 2003 SP2.

Is this a phone hardware issue, software issue or battery issue? This is really frustrating! It even vets warm in my pocket with no apps running.

Sounds like it could be a battery issue. Mine was poor for the first few days but got a **** of a lot better from there.

If you have wifi available, I'd make sure it's on when in range.

I had my z10 plugged in while composing this thread. I have lost my complete charge. Very strange.

I think this is more a battery issue than a phone hardware issue. Sounds like your battery is discharging on its own.
I too got lackluster battery life when I first got my Z10 but never the drain you are experiencing and my battery only got warm when gaming. I would say you have a faulty battery.
