there is no way for any app to be runningintbe background yet.... so if you have no apps open you cannotbe monitored.

Where can i view apps that are running? I have been told before that an Android app was installed on my device which blocked me from backing up my phone, It later disappeared and am now able to back it up. The ex gf has a Android, and knows where I am at certain times, as well as some webpages i could access before suddenly can access them anymore off my blackberry

Sounds like she has parental controls and maybe family locator service through you carrier. As long as you have a data connection the carrier can allow her to do just the things you describe if it is an available service through you carrier. It doesn't matter what phone you have.
