[speculation] Verizon will Have Z10'S on Jan 30th.

I just spoke with a customer service agent online. She stated that Blackberry 10's will launch in stores on January 30th!!

me: so you will have it in stores on that day?
Candace-Michelle: Yes they will be launched in store on that date
me: do you have price details?:
Candace-Michelle: One moment
Candace-Michelle: I do apologize but there have no price details released at this time.

She also stated there will not be a pre-order.

I have pretty good info (at least to me) that Verizon will not be ready at launch, they're still testing.

Thats weird because the CMO said they will have them at launch. I've talked to various people who said the same.

Hold the phone! Just got off the phone with Verizon rep and they have no information about the Z10. She even double checked for me and said there is no information about a release date.

I am *beyond* doubtful that they will be available on the 30th on ANY carrier, much less Verizon. Rogers will be first, you can count on that.

Canadian carriers have never been the first to get Blackberry's.

yes they have, BlackBerry 9000 just to name one, ATT didnt get that bad boy until 3 months later

It's not gonna happen. Our dedicated corporate rep has not been told a date. It won't be the 30th. It would be sweet if it would, but I really doubt it.

Blackberrys are apish ally released the same time or before in Canada. RIM/Blackberry is Canadian.

I know they are in Canada but that means nothing ]. Rogers, Bell etc have usually gotten the Blackberrys before the majority but after the first

Well, an update: My son is eligible for an update on his BB and the Verizon rep told him he should wait for the new BB available at the end of the month. Who really knows what to think?

If they said "the" month it would be Jan. most likely, if they said "next" month, I think we know what that means. Not saying this is the case, but assuming we're using proper English, that's what it would mean.

I asked about date and pricing and the rep Thurs evening had no details on anything blackberry. It was a phone rep and I was inquiring about upgrading two + lines.

Doesn't informations like these collide with other reports from people saying they asked Verizon employees about BB10 and they replied they won't get the devices or they haven't even heard of it?
Jan 30 is just around the corner, so carriers should've already started at least some very basic trsining of staff for the new system. And obviously this hasn't happened yet on Verizon...
