Hi,

Any idea if 10.2 will have an update for music player for more better sound output especially volume with an equalizer?

It's just so much wanted. I still love sound on 9300. Wish Z10 also gets sooner than later. Please BlackBerry, do this as well.

Nope, no update on the music player or equalizer

Ahh.. just missing my 9300 music app or levels..

Z10 feels low on volume and of course equalizer.. I tried full volume but music does not load that powerfully.

Something is either restricted or hardware is low quality..

I love the music player, excellent album art sorting through BlackBerry Link, nice analog style warmth and actual gap less playback when encoded as such. The music player has been a very pleasant surprise for me.

I would suggest better headphones with lower impedance making them easier to drive and therefore increasing relative loudness. Or, get a portable amp (check out Fiio stuff) for added volume and in some cases some EQ control.

I hear Neutron Player is highly regarded, but have yet to feel the need to download it.
