Many carriers are like that. Just load someone else's OS and be done with them. It's what I did with VZW. I haven't used their OS since my 8330. 6 years ago!!!!!!!!!!!

Prolly because AT&T is dissing BlackBerry due to BlackBerry's exclusive agreement with Verizon for the Z30! This is perhaps Verizon's way of stabbing AT&T in the eye for the time they had exclusive retail rights on the iPhone.

...perhaps this is so!

AT&T has not done an update in months. Use Sachesi and load it from another carrier. They may never release it.
