the photos do look good, but I'd like to see them next to a released device taking a picture of the same thing at the same time just to give us a reference point. A compro to an iPhone, GS3, or Lumia 920 would be awesome.

What is the ultimate BlackBerry? The ultimate BlackBerry would be a device with the screen size of the Z10 along with the physical keyboard of the Q10 and the battery life of the Z30. This, would be the ultimate BlackBerry. Why they haven't built it yet remains one of the greatest mystery of BlackBerry.

I don't know if its the compression, youtube or combination of both, but the video is a bit on the jumpy side.

The white balance also appeared to be active, not sure I like that. I expect that it should lock in on a color temp when recording is started, and stay there.

What are the video white balance options? Screenshot?

I tried to remember my mobile device history and realized I have had way too many to remember them all.

Camera quality looks great! Can't wait to see what if any other tricks they do in software with the camera.

I did not enable stabilization while recording so that's why the video is a bit jumpy. It wasn't compressed, I directly uploaded the raw video (both indoor and outdoor videos were 232MB in size). The white balance was set to Auto and the white balance options are Auto, Night, Beach/Snow.

Probably not. I've seen some internal builds, no other settings but lets see...
