I suddenly have a strange problem on my Z10, running OS 10.2.1.2977. Some applications will suddenly not launch, and they are applications that launched perfectly 2 days ago. I run Android apps on my phone, and some of those do not launch, but apps loaded from Blackberry app world also do not lauch, e.g. Adobe Reader, Amazon Kindle, Skype. I did not load any new app recently. This happened after I had powered down my phone, and loaned my phone to somebody who used it with their SIM card for a very short period. Anybody have any ideas?

Have you rebooted your phone with your sim in it? Have you tried the apps again? The Android runtime should not have been changed if someone used your phone...

I would keep rebooting and/or uninstall and reinstall the apps rather than have to reload the OS.

Yes, have rebooted, will try rebooting again. Also reinstalled one of the apps that doesn't launch, which didn't make a difference.

Have you tried running the apps w/o a SIM? Tried a hard reset? Except on 100-1, hold down your volume keys until it reboots.

You can try using the standard method, BBLink.. Run the program, attach the phone via USB cord and use the option to reload the OS.

You can also visit the OS Leak subforum and find the Autoloader.exe that matches the OS version you want to load.
