I just wondered if anyone else was getting repeated messages about a software update being ready for downloading. About once a day my Z10 tells me that there's an applications update, specifically 10.2.0.424. The problem is, even after you open and install the update it will keep telling you there's an application update - 10.2.0.424. There doesn't seem to be any changes to the OS that I can see - the same Software Release, OS Version, Build, Flash Player etc...

    Any ideas what's going on?

    Cheers

Have you deleted any of the preloaded apps, like Facebook, twitters, or Linkedin?

I ain't still get any updates, I'm dying for update because of automatic reboots when my battery gets down to 50%. Now I'm using 10.2.0.415

I'd like 10.2, specifically for Android side loading. But I've heard shifty things about leaks. I've run a bunch of leaks on my older bold and perls but not the z10.

    **Update**

After several weeks of constantly being told there is a software update to download even though its the same one every time I decided to see if I could do a factory reset. I plugged my Z10 in Link (on a Mac) and it told me that there was a software issue. The only option I was given was to reload the software. I pressed the button and off it went. The problem is that an hour later, Link is seems to be stuck on 'downloading update' even though the progress bar seems completed. The app is still responding but I don't know whether the download has stall or I am just supposed to leave it for another hour or two to finish its business. Any ideas how long a 'reloading of software' via Link is supposed to take? I don't want to unplug the phone and completely brick it but also don't want to sit here like a chump waiting on a process to finish that has stalled or failed.

I'd suggest being a chump for another hour. It probably should not take that long. If you have access to a Windows Machine, you could use a sideloader program to reload your version of the OS.
