I am DIY guy and like to figure things out for myself. I've seen many, many similar threads but just cant seem to find the one that fixes my problem so I apologize if I've missed something.

Simply....how do I get my outlook email to my Z10 when outlook is open?

When i leave the office, and forget to close outlook i dont get email but would like to get on desktop and device. I'm running outlook 2007 and using imap settings on the device.

Sounds like Outlook is accessing your mail account using POP and not set to keep a copy of the mail on the server. There are many many tutorials on this, so I included this one at least. Not sure what version of Outlook your using, but the server settings are the same.

Yeah, I've done that already but doesn't seem to help. As long as outllook (2007) is open i dont get emails to the Z10.

Am I missing something on the Z10 setting side? I don't remember this being such an issue with my previous BB's.

Check if you realy have outlook as imap...

Thanks escon. Can you elaborate on this? I'm not as familiar with IMAP as I'd like to be.

When I mentioned IMAP i meant i used this setting on the Z10. What else should I be looking at?
