A while back, there was an article about new data plans for the new BB10 or security levels????????

So if this is the case, which of the existing models should I upgrade my ederly BB900 to?

    Thanks

LOL you're welcome. I don't think the issues you mentioned are anything that will be an issue is all.

If you are talking about the BIS situation, then yes.... Apparently they are going to be offering it as a tiered service depending on what you want. We don't know the details yet but will soon. For me, personally, I will continue with what I have and go full BIS but many seem to not like that so they have the option. You asked which model to go for.... that, as kbz1960 said, is dependant on which of the two styles you want. Touch or QWERTY. Many have decided to move on to the full touch but there are still those who simply love the physical keyboard. Nobody can help you with that as it's a personal preference.

I had a tour and now a torch 9850. I do miss the physical keyboard but to go back to a physical keyboard I loose screen size (my carrier doesn't have the 9810). I do have a PB though and I much prefer typing on it as opposed to my 9850 and I use it for most everything beyond calls. Does someone have a touch bb you could play with for awhile?

I don't think using a current touch BB would be any comparison to the Z10. From those who have DevAlpha's, the sentiment is that the new on screen keyboard is above and beyond other offerings out there.

True but the OP said BB10 wasn't an option.

Oh right... well if they can't get a BB10 unit, then I guess a 9900 would be the next best thing..... only my opinion though.
