    Since I have no friends or family using BLACKBERRY, BBM is useless to me. Is there a Sms app out there that will let me use all my contacts and personalize their tones?

    Sorry that you have no friends on BBM. You should search our social forums and find some new friends.

    In answer to your question, you can download Hub++ or BeBuzz and set them up to play a sound for individual contacts SMS.

    One thing that was nice about the legacy BBM was that you could run all your contacts through BBM. But with BBM going cross platform soon, the loss of that ability on BB10 will no longer be an issue.
