SmartKeyboard concept video
So I was surfing the forums and found a post called "Snap-on Keyboard"
http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...yboard-756087/
They posted about how cool it would be to have a Snap-On Keyboard for the L-Series for dedicated QWERTY fans that are looking towards all touch but, not sure. User 'Mamaluka' mentioned seeing a concept for iPhone of a snap-cover. I looked it up and found this:
The video in the link reminded me A LOT of the Microsoft Surface touch cover (multiple colors, thin, etc.) The keyboard in the video looked a lot like the N-Series keyboard (aligned line of keys) . It actually would be cool if RIM used the idea of a "touch cover" from Microsoft for the Z10 (L-Series) and brought this to market. - 12-25-2012, 11:26 AM #4
Definitely give the designer credits for the ideas but I don't find something like this practical. The snap on keyboard can't stay there all the time and when not in use it would have to be rolled to the back or removed when not in use.

Looks like it could be useful in certain situations but impractical in most.
