All these apps will be there before US Launch.

Also it will be hub integrated. Confirmed for skype not sure about whatsapp

Does this mean the new runtime is coming before US launch? Would be amazing. Most apps would probably work with that and likely very well.

Why does everyone ask if the runtime will be updated? they said sometime this year, it will be updated.... If it was updated, there would need to be a serious OS upgrade in the next 5 days or so, and that is not going to happen as a lot of carriers haven't even released the first OS upgrade yet....

Reading around on the forums it does seem like the new android environment is under testing. If this is the reality, the perhaps hoping for Skype and new OS upgrade would be like getting two presents from Santa

They're reverse engineering the Android emulator from my understanding, so Skype can be a "Fantastic Experience" on the Z10. I suspect we may see another software update before it comes along.
