Anyone think the Z10 is too large? I tried one today in VZW store and really was impressed, except that it almost seems a little too big. I currently use a blackberry bold 9930 and switch to a Motorola RAZR Max. The motorola is just a little too big for me and 1 handed use. The Z10 is just about the same size as the RAZR. Although the Z10 feels a little better in the hand I was hoping it would be a little closer to the size of the iPhone. Anyone put off by the size of the Z10?

Nope. Perfect for one handed operation. Perfect as a phone and large enough to enjoy videos etc.

I am one of those that prefers small phones, or smaller phones. The only 2 other smartphones that are smaller than the Z10 were the iPhone and the Motorola Razr M. When I did a comparison at the store, the Z10 was only a few tenths of an inch longer than the Razr M. Motorola did a good job with the screen of the M, as it is the same size as Z10 in a smaller frame, but despite also having a good chipset, the M just didn't have enough memory to be a capable productivity tool, as it apparently more of a phone with browser capabilities. Ultimately, the Z10 was the right choice for me.

At first I thought it was a little big but after a little use I've found is about perfect. The width at times makes it tough for single hand use (although it could be my small hands, too, I guess) but I do enjoy it. I've been toying with the decision on whether to stay with the Z or move to the Q when it comes out but I've decided the screen loss on the Q isn't worth the keyboard to me. I am sooooo surprised by this as I thought I was destined to be Q user. The virtual kb on the Z is amazing and with the word assist it makes using it a dream. Truly could not be happier with it.

Actually I want the aristo this phone at 5 inches would be amazing. I find the z10 perfect for one handed operation, and slightly too small for gaming.

Works great, I use it while driving downtown in a service truck and while working on equipment and it's good. Swiping is awesome, they just need to relocate some of the search fields to the bottom of the screen

The screen size is that sweet spot you want from a smartphone. I have got a few "That screen! " from apple fans.

Funny, I picked up my 9700 yesterday to look at an old note and thought the same thing.

I'm a petite lady and I don't find the phone too large for me; however I do not type with only one hand - I'm afraid I'll drop it!

Absolutely not too big. If you used it for a month and then picked up an iPhone, you'd be thinking 'Why is this thing so small'. Guaranteed.

Coming from a legacy BlackBerry, the screen size is perfect. I don't think I can go to ma smaller screen now.

I have small hands. But I like the big screen. However I have found my hands are a bit strained after getting the z10. Feels like I almost have CTS.

Anybody else have hands that hurt after purchasing the z10?

Was the one you tried tethered?
    It always makes it awkward.
After a week of use you'll think the iPhone is too small

I don't find the z10 too big at all. The HTC One (I find) is a big phone. Plus the power button is placed in a very awkward location. I had a hell of a time reaching for the button when I tried out the device in the store.
