I recently got the z10 have been with iPhone and Android in the past both were rooted and jail broken, however every single app I load does not work.

I was reading that the 4181 firmware was the problem is there any truth to this? The apps install fine but just don't work

Hmm. I can't confirm that. I think there are a lot of people here running different firmwares. I am not running that yet. I'm on 10.1.0.2039.

Where are you getting you bar files from? Which method are you using to sideload? I just used bats from the side loading thread this morning using the Google Chrome extension via WiFi and loaded 6 apps, including Instagram, all successful and working.

Can you provide a little more info.so.we can troubleshoot?

I am using the chrome extension with bar files installing them via wifi, but I have tried epocrates,cut the rope, gmail,and a few other games all of them install successfully.

But when I run the app nothing just a black screen with a box to force close the app. Is there a way I can downgrade the os? I have restored the phone via BlackBerry Link and tried to start from scratch but every time the update 4181 (12mb) installs no matter what.

Figured it out, it was in my case the 4181 update! Downgraded to 10.0.10.261 and side loading is working!

Crackberry nation please help!

I have sideloaded epocrates on to my BB Q10 Version 10.2.0.1761. The side load and the app seems to load fine, however when I launch Epocrates, It starts an infinite loop with Blackberry World with the text "pname:epocrates.com". I am not able to close the world window, however, I can see epocrates running in the other window, I am just never able to click over and get to it.

I am able to "agree to terms of use" and all the other jazz the loop and everything else starts when Epocrates says "regenerating universal look-up". The only way to end the loop is to reset the phone, otherwise the loop runs until the battery dies (yeah I tried that once).

I can't think of anything I have changed, epocrates used to work just fine as a side load, which I downloaded from BB10bars. I have tried multiple OS versions downgrade and upgrade and I am out of ideas. I need this one app for my job.

Any ideas?

Have you changed the OS? What OS? Have you sideloaded anything else? Have you tried UNinstalling it, reboot and REinstalling it?

Have you searched for that app name and seen if anyone else has run into issues? If you don't get a reasonable response under this vague thread heading you might want to start one in the app forum or sideload forums.
