Hello dear crackberrys.

As I saw tv my device was on standby mode. When I try to unlock him it
Was shutdown. It's happen 3 times in one hour.

I need help

Mine just froze when I was trying to wake it up. A long press of the power button brought up the shut down or reboot routine though. Works again after a reboot. Strange device, sometimes.

I've had mine reboot twice while using the google talk app and once just sitting on the table. A few more and I may go exchange for another Z10.

If you are having a lot of crashing problems, the usual culprit are sideloaded Android apps. Sometimes other poorly-coded apps.

However those are not the only cause of trouble. There are some people that see periodic crashes. I had what looked like the first one of those myself yesterday when I was doing something in Blackberry World. I'm not sure if it was doing an update that required a restart and I just didn't see the prompt that it needed to restart, or if it crashed.

Some of the newer versions of the OS may have included some bugfixes for crashing as well, but I don't have any specific fix-lists to refer to about where those might have been changed.

I was just thinking the same thing. Mine has frozen and either automatically shut down, or just frize and I had to manually reboot it, at least 4 or 5 times in a week. And each time I wasn't doing heavy stuff. Things like changing a contact's nane, or it was just sitting there while I wasn't using it. I'm thinking maybe I should go back to at&t and ask for a new one.

I has my first freeze up today while posting using CB 10. Only had the phone a few days so not that bad..

This issue is wide spread, no point in swapping for a new one.

I'm hoping all we need is a software update.

Happened twice yesterday.

I have no side loaded apps and I've hD two freezes followed by spontaneous reboots.

I wouldn't mind the app crashing. But the device freezing then rebooting I do have a problem with.

I agree. So what was running at the time?

As I wrote earlier, the only time it may have done that with me was when I was in BBworld. It showed 2 downloads (didn't know what that meant at the time, thought perhaps it meant I had 2 updates available or something, but now I think it means 2 currently active downloads), followed by a freeze and reboot.

One time I was in CB using the app. The other time I was in BBM.
