So, I've had my Z10 for about 1 year. It's still great and I love it. Had planned on keeping it until blackberry released a new all touch device.(heard something about rio) But the current deal on shop blackberry has got me tempted. So, my question is is it worth it to "upgrade" to the Z30. Better battery and bigger screen, I know. But are there any other advantages??

The z30 runs android apps more smoothly than a z10. Speakers are also better.

At the price it is going for, you should have no regrets. I took the bait three weeks ago and find the Z30 as good as good it gets. I now see it going for 50 bucks cheaper. Heck, I'm tempted to buy a back up at the price they have it going for. Enjoyed the Z10...enjoying the Z30 even more. It really is a great piece of equipment.

FM Radio, Miracast, USB OTG, Paratek Antenna, Better GPU (smoother ui and better graphics), great sounding speakers. Add all that to the bigger battery and larger screen.

There are many other advantages than bigger screen and battery like fast processor, better build, better design, super amoled screen, usb otg, wifi direct, miracast etc. So there are so many advantages of z30 over z10.

I've had both the z10 and the z30 and for me, the z10 is way better.

Z10's removable battery is a huge plus for me. The battery life on my Z10 is actually quite decent and I have two spares always charged so that I never have to wait for the phone to charge. Just pop a fresh battery in and go.

Z10s screen is also highly highly superior. Z30 is bigger but the pixel density and brightness is actually pretty poor. Put the Z10 and Z30 side by side and you'll see what I mean.

The case selection for Z10 blows away the Z30. Z30 is getting more popular but compared to the Z10, it is quite obscure. This is why Z10 has so many more cases.

The only thing I like more about the Z30 is the speaker.

I've been asking myself the same question lately, I still enjoy my Z10 for the most part. The lag of some Droid apps is annoying sometimes but bareable. I too am hoping for a new full touch device by BB.

Got a z30... worth every buck spent...
Big screen.. superb speakers and an amazing battery life of at least 24-30 hours... I'm mesmerized by this one!

They should've released the z30 instead of z10 and the scenario would be quite different for BlackBerry

Yes, if you have the money to buy it, your pockets are big enough to fit it, you don't mind using it with 2 hands, you don't mind lower resolution screen, and to carry around 170g device is OK for you.

I was in the same position when I saw that it was only $225. My eyes widened, my jaw dropped, I knew at that moment I'd be upgrading my Z10 to the Z30. After about 6 hours spent deciding a color I placed my order. I knew BlackBerry would probably come out with another all-touch, but if the passport and classic took nearly a year to be released... wouldn't any other rumored device?

My Z10 has been great, but a Z30 for only $26 more than I originally paid for the Z10, for me it wasn't a question.

If you hesitate, you might not be ready for the upgrade. Remember though, opportunities like this don't present themselves often.

My wife and I currently operate Z10's and love them. But, when I saw the price reduction on Z30's on Saturday morning, I quickly went to my computer and purchased two Z30's. I will report later on whether I think this was a great decision after my wife and I have had a chance to use the devices. One this is for sure, however, I can always go back to using my Z10 if I do not like the Z30.

Those great ShopBB deals don't cover the Verizon version of the Z30. I see even refurbished Verizon units are selling for more than that new price.
