    Hello,

First of all, please excuse my bad english I'm french

I'm currently planning in getting a new phone, and so I want to be helped.
My choice will be made between the Lumia 925 and the Z10.
I already have a WP, and actually I'm more attracted by the Z10, don't know why...
I like clean interface, with great integration and smooth navigating.
The keyboard is the more important thing to me, I'm messaging h24 and I want a phone which allows me to quickly and pleasantly manage this. I don't need useless gadgets wich I'll only opened one time, I only use Facebook, Twitter etc... Soundcloud, Spotify and I like using SnapChat. I'm still a little bit scared with the blackberry... Will I have to use laggy, poorly integrated, emulated stuff ?
And isn't the blackberry to old ? How long will he live if I buy it now ?

I rely on the community which seems very active.

    Thanks in advance

I don't know? Should you? Do you want one?

Now the questions I can actually answer...

    Hello,

First of all, please excuse my bad english I'm french
It's ok, we won't blame you for bring French.

I like clean interface, with great integration and smooth navigating.
    That's BB10
The keyboard is the more important thing to me, I'm messaging h24 and I want a phone which allows me to quickly and pleasantly manage this
The Z10 has the best virtual keyboard available today. I came from a 9780 and was fearful I would not be able to type on glas but the Z10 make it a smooth transition. Prediction, auto corrections and auto-text are all there.

I don't need useless gadgets wich I'll only opened one time, I only use Facebook, Twitter etc... Soundcloud, Spotify and I like using SnapChat.
There is a beta, 3rd party app for SnapChat I believe. All other apps you mentioned are either covered or can be sideloaded (or directly loaderd once 10.2.1 goes official - or now if you are into leaks).

I'm still a little bit scared with the blackberry... Will I have to use laggy, poorly integrated, emulated stuff ?
Ported Android apps happen to run very well -although not all of them work, some crash, but that's bound to change with 10.2.1. Native apps do run well too. So I am not sure what you're talking about here...

And isn't the blackberry to old?
No. It's BlackBerry 10. Barely one year old. QNX based. BBOS is the 10 years long running JavaVM people keep complaining about.

How long will he live if I buy it now ?
Oh, so devices implode into blackholes if their companies close?

I rely on the community which seems very active.

    Thanks in advance
    De rien!
    And welcome to the forums!

Without using it you won't understand how great and buttery smooth it is. It depends on you only which one to go for but I can assure that you won't regret and never get bored and fell in love with it especially the KEYBOARD.

    A proud Z10 owner.

If you like the Z10 I would say go with the Z30, better battery life and bigger screen for apps etc.

    In a word: heck yeah!

I guess that's two words, but you get my point.

When you get it, install one of the 10.2.1 leaks and you'll have all the apps you want.

The Z10 is just so cool! Not too big, not too small. Very powerful and an extremely good tool if you require productivity. The Z10 works well for me and many others as can be witnessed here on CrackBerry. I've owned and used BlackBerry devices over fifteen years and love them. You will not be disappointed, just take a chance and try the Z10. The build quality, screen size, smoothness of operation, etc. One thing that is never mentioned here or elsewhere about BlackBerry, is the opportunity to connect with and interact with some very very nice people. Consider not just the hardware, but also the community you will no doubt becoming a part of. Just one man's opinion!

I use a Z10 and the typing/keyboard is one of the reasons this phone excels for me, buttery smooth gestures and multitasking is great for me.

You will not be disappointed if your a big message /texting person

Considering the tasks you listed as being important for a smartphone to handle easily and conveniently for you maybe the BlackBerry Q5 would be the best choice. However, if you want to play games and watch videos/movies then the BlackBerry meets all your stated requirements plus the entertainment. But if messaging is the primary use then definitely the less expensive BlackBerry Q5 is perfect.

I had same dilemma and I went for Z10. I really liked 925 features but I like more my Z10. Even if Z10 stays at current level feature vise and WP8 keep progressing, Ill be happy with Z10 at least till end of 2014.
